READ A NOVEL: MARK HADDON'S "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time"

Now that we have tossed the textbook (...) you are asked to read a novel and discuss it in school each week (always on Mondays). If you want to hang on to the textbook (it is a bit easier) you can, and then I will provide a separate schedule for you.

You will read approximately 70 pages a week starting week 42 (up to page 68, as a matter of fact) and finish off week 46. These are the important dates to keep in mind:

Monday the 18th of October: read as far as 68 (lecture from Transfer)
Monday the 25th of October: read as far as page 138
Monday the 8th of November: read as far as page 213
Monday the 15th of November: complete the reading (page 268)
Wednesday the 24 of November: hand in analysis + word test

As you can tell you will not be given time to answering questions on the 18th, but you will however be asked to do so on the 25th (that is from the beginning of the text to page 138). There are many brilliant sites you can visit, and this is one example to get you started: http://www.randomhouse.co.uk/curious/

I will test you on the words, and expect you to hand in an analysis as well (I will get back to what you are supposed to do later…) on the 24th of November by emailing it to me: carolina.ignell.eslov.se
