Escape or die?

INTRODUCTION

If you like fast-paced, funny comments, love and a bit unreal events this is the perfect film for you. “Pirates of the Caribbean” shows many different feelings, events and personalities. There is much action in this movie, and many things you think about after you’ve seen it and it’s very well executed.

Suddenly a shot is fired and you can almost taste the gunpowder in your mouth. The air feels very damp and you almost get blinded by all the gold in the background, but these thing are not nearly as important as the vision when it began to drain blood from the pirate’s heart..

DESCRIPTION/ANALYSIS

Though she has everything she could ever dream of she’s missing something in her life. Excitement, spontaneity, true love - all the good stuff doesn’t exist until William Turner (Orlando Bloom) floats up by the ship

It is frightening how much a person’s life can change over a short time. You barely have time to blink until everything is gone. To lose everything you have fought for and knowing that you probably never will see your old life again is probably the worst thing a man can experience.

  1. Kill That Pirate!

Captain Jack Sparrow is going to be hanged because he is a pirate and they have a whole list of things he makes himself guilty of. Will Turner is not going to allow that. So he prepares to make a rescue mission. Exactly when they going to pull down the platform were Jack stands on Will throws a sword so he just can be able to stand on. All the guards start to chase Will and it get uproar. Jack is able to flee and he runs to the top of the castle and jumps in to the deep water. But before he jumps down to the water he says his famous line "Remember this day as the day you almost caught captain Jack Sparrow" it is great that you quote from the film, and this introduction is good, but it starts off immediately, so think of ways of introducing the topic.

Jack Sparrow is one of the main characters in the scene and actually in the whole movie as well. He is a very special pirate. I think he got a little conscience which is unusual by pirates.

Will Turner is the other main character in the scene in the movie as well. He is a blacksmith and works for the governor. His father was a pirate and he was found by the governor when he was a little boy on the ocean.

The scene is set place in a castle and there is a big crowd who wants to see it. And there is an executioner who will cut the rope so Jack falls down. The governor and Elisabeth Swan, his daughter, and other royalties are watching at a special place. And outside the castle is the ocean.

After Jack had jumped down from the castle I don’t know what will happen to him. But I think that he will survive because he’s Jack Sparrow the pirate. And if he survives as I think he will, I think he will try to get his revenge on the governor. Or maybe he just let it go and starting to plunder and rob again like the pirate he is. With Will I don’t know what will happen to him but it’s not impossible that he will get some form of penalty. Because he just saved a pirate, it’s quite logical if you think. But I think he did the right thing, he just followed his heart. I got a little feeling that if Will hadn’t saved Jack, Elisabeth the governors daughter had. She was acting strange and her body language was not normal and she was not comfortable with the situation. I also think that she would have wanted to, she would probably try to do the same thing as Will but not as good as he did I think.

Will Turner saves Jack Sparrow from being hanged. The execution is about to be held, but exactly when they are going to execute him Will Turner comes as a rescuer. And they are not able to kill him this time. And once again he can say "Remember this day as the day you almost caught captain Jack Sparrow".

  2. Wrong person
Are all pirates bad or can they be a good person like anyone else? Can you change your planed future and do what you want to do and don’t just do what you are “born to”?
I have chosen the scene when all the pirates are in the cave and they waiting to be deadly again and Barbosa are holing Elizabeth and he cut her in her hand and give her the pirate neckless in her hand and hugs it and after a few seconds she drop the neckless in the chest with the rest of the neckless. All the pirates were waiting if they felt anything deferent, one of the pirates was asking if something happened and Barbosa shoot him in his cheast and said “What do you think”? Then they understand that they had the wrong person.
The persons in this scene are the whole pirate crew and they are waiting intently to be deadly agian. Elizabeth is in the bad position she doesn’t know if she will die or survive. Jack Sparrow and Will Turner are hiding behind a rock in the cave where the pirates have all there´s stolen goods Jack wants’ to take control of Will and tell him just to wait but Turner will take care of it on his own and he do his operation to save Elizabeth.
I think Will Turner will ignore what Jack Sparrow said to him and try to get Elizabeth out of the cave so she can return home to her father and Will Turner can be more popular with her dad so he can be fine with their marriage and she doesn’t have to marry the military captain. I think he hope that he can change his planned future and be continued respected as a normal person and don’t be different treated now when all know that he has pirate in his blood

  3. We do not fear death

The pirate Jack Sparrow and the blacksmith William Turner are looking for a crew to sail with their ship off the horizon to get Elizabeth Swann who has been kidnapped by evil pirates on “the black pearl” . Pirates who want to be accepted onboard the ship are not exactly of the highest caliber in order to outwit Hector Barbossa who is the captain of the Black Pearl.
Mr. Cotton has lost his tongue. His parrot is taking care of the conversations. Anamaria who is a female brings misfortune according to Jack's assistant, Mr. Gibbs. But Jack is in a debt for Anamaria, (Since he borrowed her ship without permission) Anamaria is a woman who wants to sail with the crew to find Elizabeth Taylor. Captain Jack Sparrow owes her a ship.
Jack is a fun and a bit lost pirate. He was released from prison in Port Royal by Will Turner who wanted help to find the way so he could rescue Elizabeth from the evil pirates on the black pearl. Will is a blacksmith who has been in love with Elizabeth since childhood. He and Jack were helping each other by stealing a ship from the English navy. Mr. Cotton is a quite old man who doesn’t have a tongue. . His parrot, (Mr. Cotton’s parrot) is taking care of the conversations.
They´re in Tortuga which is a place for all the pirates to have a laugh, and just relax. Or maybe not, Tortuga is a place where all the pirates can drink as much as possible, sleep as little as they can until they´re forced out to sea again by their captains.
As we´ve seen earlier in the movie we can assume that some very hilarious and exciting scenes with captain Jack Sparrow will occur. Jack can’t be trusted to 100%, after all, he’s a pirate! And he will probably do anything just to get his hands on “the black pearl”. William is willing to sacrifice his life just to get Elizabeth back to safety, no matter what. Will is in my opinion a quite sharp young blacksmith, but he has not understood that pirates can’t be trusted, under no circumstances. Let´s pray to god that the crew on Jack’s and William’s ship will survive, I can’t exactly say that they look especially dangerous. Elizabeth is very determined that she will escape from the black pearl. There is one special reason because William probably is the becoming husband. And they won’t stop fighting for their freedom until they have returned home back to Great Britain. That makes me believe that some very interesting incidents will be seen in the movie. A real masterpiece!

  4. The shot of death

Suddenly a shot is fired and you can almost taste the gunpowder in your mouth. The air feels very damp and you almost get blinded by all the gold in the background, but none of these things are not nearly as important as the sight of when the blood begins to drain from the pirate´s heart.

It all started with a long and sweaty sword battle between the cruel pirate Barbossa and the nice pirate Jack Sparrow but ended with a shot straight in to Barbossa´s heart. The shot if death was fired by Jack and just a few seconds after hearing the pistol you hear Barbossa saying: "Ten years you carry that pistol and now you waste your only shot”, but it turned out to be worth wasting it, because at the same time as Jack fired Will Turner cut himself and let the blood flow into the mysterious casket which led to the pirates not being immortal anymore.

The horrible pirate Barbossa is the person who gets shot and dies in the scene, and he is also the leader of all the pirates. Jack Sparrow who fired the shot that he saved for all those years is also a pirate but not quite as bad as Barbossa and his men. Last but not least we have Will Turner, who is one of the main characters in the film. He is an important figure in this specific scene because he is the person who carries the blood that can put an end to the pirate´s rampage

The scene takes place in a dark and mysterious cave in the middle of the sea. The cave is so full of gold that there is not an empty spot on the ground to step on, you can also smell the horrible stench of dead pirates which is not very tasteful. It is also a little foggy in the cave because of the moisture and the water in there.

I can´t really answer the question what will happen next because I have seen the entire movie but if I didn´t I think that I would have guessed what will happen. I had known because a few scenes earlier it shows when the pirates took Elisabeth as a hostage and tried to become human by using her blood but it didn´t work so it was quite obvious that Jacks blood would work and that the pirates would die out.
Once again the bad guys will die and the good guys will win.

  5. Escape or die?

Every soldier has sorrunded Capten Jack and Will Turner. They just try to escape from Will saving project but now they stuck. Elizabeth jumps in to the ring of soldiers and says that she wants to be with Will. The commander listens to her and the soldiers put down their weapons. Jack takes the opportunity to escape and he say his popular phrase ‘’This is the day you will always remeber as the day when you almost.. ‘’. He doesn’t end the whole sentences because he falls down from the castle edge.

The whole scene is taken on a castle high up in the air. You can see that is high when Jack falls down from the edge. It’s many people in this scene, every soldier, the commander, the king, Will, Elizabeth and Jack.

This is a very important scene because Elizabeth tells the commander and her father that she wants to be with Will and her father and the comander accept that. I think Will and Elizabeth will get married and have a love full life after this. Not directly but in the next moive maybe. In this scene start their life together. You knew that Elizabeth and Will had feelings for each other and when Elizabeth jump in to the ring of soldiers she shows it for real. Why she shows it now is because Will maybe die and if she’s not tell everybody know she could never do it.

Before Jack escapes he says to Will that he had a nice hat. The hat looked like a pirate hat and that’s what Jack means. That Will was a pirate. Will and Jack had become good friends. In the beginning of the movie when Jack and Will steal a ship you can see that they work good together and that Will has some pirate blood in his veins. Jack was also friend with Will dad. Elizabeth and Will have totally other perspective on pirates since they meet Jack. He shows them that he’s just not a pirate, he’s is much more than that. He cares of other people, he smart and he don’t just care about the money and gold.

In the scene before you see a parrot and not any parrot. It’s the parrot who lives in the black pearl (Jack ship) so I thought that the ship have to be in the area. When Jack falls down from the edge I knew that he did it in purpose, he knew that his ship was there so he could just swim to it. Maybe somebody thinks that he is going die when he fall down or at least get arrested but I have no doubt. He is Captain Jack Sparrow for god sake. He can’t just die.

  6. To fight for nothing?

Have you ever experienced that someone else received all confirmation and honour for something you have done? Or at least felt that your hard work ultimately didn’t count ? Imagine that you really have strained and worked really hard for something and than you fall on the finishing line and a person who didn't struggle at all gets all the praise. Have you then done all in vain? No, because without you the other person had not succeeded. But it sucks anyway….
A scene in the movie "Pirates of the Caribbean" got me thinking about just such occasions. The scene where Will and Jack run into each other and a violent fight occurs. Jack sneaks into a shed, where he certainly shouldn’t be. And if it wouldn't haven been for the guard who fell asleep he probably wouldn’t be there either.
When Jack is in the shed and makes noises, Will hears it. So when he comes into the shed, he noticed that someone either had been there or is there, because a tool is not where he left it and Jack's hat is next to it. When Will is going to touch the hat, Jack comes out and he hits Will on the hand with a sword. Then they start fighting with swords. Both are very talented and they are testing each other. Jack is a pirate so it is perhaps not surprising that he is so good at it, but it surprises him that Will is. But Will has made the swords they are fighting with, and he trains with them three hours a day so it is a tight game and it seems to be able to last forever. But suddenly, Jack takes up a gun and says "This shot is not made for you" and asks him to move, so he just wants to get out from the shed. But Will answers: "I just can't step aside and let you escape". And after that, it all ends with the man, who ought to guard the place, wakes up and walks up and hits Jack in the head with a bottle of glass so he faints of- It means that he has lost the match.
It arrives a number of other people who praise the guarding man and makes him look like the hero when he was the one who screwed it up and allowed Jack to get into the shed from the beginning. When everybody praises and commends him can you see the disappointment in Will's eyes. It was truly mostly thanks to him that Jack didn't get away. He almost had him several times but there is no one who cares about that. I think that he feels that he has done all this for nothing. He tried to fix what the guard had made and he actually risked his life and gets no credit for that. But he doesn't say anything. He just accept it. Afterwards Jack gets caught and put in prison. But when the governor’s daughter, who Will is in love with, become kidnapped, Will needs Jack’s help and rescues him.
Now I'll try to summarize this. Will tries to beat Jack who has sneaked into a shed. The guard has fell asleep and doesn't notice Jack. But when Will has been fighting for his life, he wakes up and throws a bottle into Jack’s head so he faints, and becomes the hero because of that. Can it be worse? If someone gets credit for something you have done stand up for yourself, you know what's happened and you know the truth. That's the only thing that really matters.

  7. A pearl´s horror

“You´ve seen a ship with black sails, that´s crewed by the damned and captained by a man so evil that Hell itself spat him back out?”

    Yes, I have.

The governors’ daughter Elizabeth Swann is alone on the Black Pearl with the crew and captain Barbossa. She sees for the first time that the crew is cursed by the Cortez gold. The crew is working on deck in the moonlight and it shows what they really are, immortal, horrifying skeletons.

To describe the crew on the ship I`d like to use Barossa’s expression:
"We are not among the living, and so we cannot die, but neither are we dead. For too long I’ve been parched with thirst and unable to quench it. Too long I’ve been starving to death and haven’t died. I feel nothing. Not the wind on my face, not the spray of the sea, nor the warmth of a woman’s flesh."

I think he illustrated the scene very good, but also more, in fact whole their lives. Even if they are supposed to act insensitive, I can clearly figure out that they are in pain. They have filthy clothes and are looking generally unhappy while Elizabeth wears a pretty beautiful, wine-red dress and has a pale, blushing skin tone. She seems definitely more alive than the crew both with the skin color and her fear for the skeletons.

The ship is either not a prettiness just like her crew. She (the ship) is very old and also banned. It’s a great ship with large sails that without help from the wind are filled out and pushes her forward. Not even the many cannon holes can stop her from being the fastest ship on the seven seas. They are far out on the sea in the middle of the night that makes everything in the scene a bit scarier.

But why did I choose to write and analyze just this part of the 143 minutes long film? I think it’s because of what Barbossa says to Elizabeth. For me it feels like a very, very meaningful phrase for the whole story. It says just not that the crew is cursed it´s also says how much pain the pirates are in, and for being a pirate it must have felt awful to reveal it to anyone else who doesn´t know so much about it, even more in front of a woman. Even if the crew can`t feel anything physical they must have some emotions inside because a pirate should not weep like that!

The reason why they have taken Elizabeth is because she told them her last name was Turner. And to break the curse they need the blood of a man called Turner. So when they finally get her they think it´s the end of the curse. That`s also a reason for why Barbossa isn`t wary of what he is saying.

What is quite obvious that`s happening next is that the Black Pearl rushes to Isla de Muerta to end their suffer. If they are going to kill Elizabeth is still not so obvious.

Because on a ship with black sails, that`s crewed by the damned and captained by a man so evil that Hell itself spat him back out, you certainly shouldn`t be so sure.

  8. Welcome to the Caribbean, love

I have chosen to work with the scene when Jack and Elizabeth get stranded on the unknown and lonely island by Captain Barbossa and his crew from The Black Pearl. In this movie there are a few scenes that talked to me a bit more than the others. As we all know I love comedy and that’s why this scene was perfect for me. When I think about the movie this scene is the first one that comes to my mind.

The scene starts when Jack and Elizabeth are “walking the plank” and swim to the island that Jack once was stranded before. When he was the captain of the black pearl the crew made a mutiny and put him on the island with a one gun and one shot and how he got away from the island is a mystery. Elizabeth starts a conversation with him how they are going to get away from the lonely island but she feels like she's talking to a wall. She asks him if all the stories about him are true and says "Are you the pirate I’ve read about or not?". Then he tells her the truth about how he got away from the island the last time and that is that rumrunners used the island as a cache and he was lying on the beach for three days drinking rum and enjoyed the life. Elizabeth becomes really disappointed and says "That's the secret grand adventure of the infamous Jack Sparrow?" and Jack answers with " Welcome to the the Caribbean, love". This is a great quoting technique! After that Jack gives Elizabeth a bottle of rum and a second later you'll see them dancing around the fire and singing the "pirate song". The last part of the scene you'll see Jack pass out on the beach because he's really drunk. The whole scene is about three minutes.
Jack Sparrow is the ex captain of the famous and spooky ship "The Black Pearl" and his plan is to take back the ship from the present captain Barbossa. He is preformed the famous actor Johnny Depp.
In the scene we also have the beautiful Elizabeth Swan who is the governor’s daughter. She's preformed Keira Knightley.
The scene takes place on an island in the middle of the Caribbean. They have no idea where they are. You can say that they are isolated on the island. The island is very beautiful with palm trees and surrounded with the bluest water you've ever seen. For some people that island would be a dream to visit but Elizabeth and Jack must get away from it so Elizabeth can save Will and Jack can get his ship back.

I think that this is a very well done scene which makes you want to see what will happen next. I believe that this scene message is that "It takes two to make a thing go right" because neither one of them would have left the island alone. The day after Elizabeth makes a huge fire out of the rum and the smoke go 300 meters up in the air. Because of this smart idea Elizabeth’s father and his crew come and rescue her and Jack. Then Jack convinces the royal navy to follow the Black Pearl and fight them. What the royal navy don’t know is that the crew of the "Pearl" are cursed which make them immortal. But Jack knows how to break the curse and make them mortal so he follows his plan which is to break the curse along with killing his worst enemy Barbossa. Then the last scene starts with beating drums and Jack standing and waiting to get hanged. If you want to know how the movie ends I suggest that you watch the whole movie.

  9. Love is powerful!

Have you ever been so deeply in love that you would risk your life for that person? Maybe you have done something stupid or crazy just to show the person you love that you are serious. Or maybe you just too shy to say the words and you will show it in an other way. In pirates of the Caribbean the curse of the black pearl you will see a perfect scene of this.
Elizabeth Swan (Keira Knightley) becomes trapped by pirates on the “Black Pearl” and when she looks over the other side she sees the ship there Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) is stuck. A few seconds later the whole ship explodes. Of her facial expression you can see that she gets shocked, worried and sad. But perhaps she gets mostly mad because she runs up to Barbossa, which is the Captain of the “Black Pearl” and start beating on him. He grabs her arms and starts shaking her and says “Welcome back, Miss. You took advantage of our hospitality last time. It holds fair now that you return the favor”. After that he pushes her to the creepy crew that begins to touch her and smell her hair.
But as in a dream Will Turner came up climbing on the boat and stands on the railing. With a determined voice he says “Barbossa! She goes free!” and point the gun at him. But instead of getting scared Barbossa starts laughing and says “You have only one shot and we can´t die!”. Then Will Turner point the gun at himself instead and says “You can´t, but I can”. When I watch this part of the movie I felt very sad for the frightening and ghastly crew. Because they don´t understand the power of love between Elizabeth and Will. I don´t think they have felt love for a very long time as you can see in the scene because when Barbossa pushes Elizabeth to the crew they get totally weird, just as they never have seen a woman before.
I think there are three different choices of possibilities about what can happen next. The first choices is that captain Barbossa and his crew didn’t believe in what Will is saying and just start laughing at him or take him as prisoner. And what will they do with Elizabeth then? I think they also take her as prisoner or kill her because she has lied about who she is.
The second option is that they just ignore him and continue on what they were doing. In this case continued to touch and stroke Elizabeth. My third and also last possible choice is that they take him seriously and do as Will inform them, which is to let Elizabeth go. But in return they take Will and force him to give blood to them.
I believe it´s the last one that is right because it seems most real and likely. If it is as I think, Will Turner really puts his life in danger just to help the one he loves. It is as if love takes over your body and makes you to not feel fair anymore. If this is the truth about love, I just have one thing to say: Love is a great feeling and take care of it with your life, because otherwise you will miss a powerful thing.

  10. Follow your heart
Is always the law correct? Or is it your own thoughts and explanations? I think you should take pieces of them both and combine them together.
The scene that I have chosen is when Jack Sparrow is being hanged. Just before, William is saying to Miss Swann that he loves her. Jack has a rope around his neck and a man is talking about God and his life ahead. His friend William Turner makes a decision, going through the people and just before Jack is being dropped, he throws a sword underneath him. Jack is now standing on the sword. The executer cut of Jacks rope by mistake. William and Jack are fighting against the guards. By the time, they couldn’t stand against them all. Jack and William are now surrounded.
Commodore James Norrington, Governor Swann, Elizabeth Swann, Will Turner, Jack Sparrow and all of the villages are in the scene. Commodore Norrington and Governor Swann have the same face expression. Both of them think it’s the right thing that Sparrow should be hanged, it’s the law. I think that Elizabeth Swann have realized that Sparrow’s death not should end in a way like that. But she’s too afraid of the law so she doesn’t do anything until the end of the scene. Will Turner follows his heart and rescue his friend and doesn’t care about the law in these situations. Jack Sparrow is dressed as he always looks like, a pirate. I think he knows that someone is going to rescue him. You can see that on his face, because he doesn’t look scared at all.
The place where the scene is taking place is sort of a castle. The place is quite high above the ground. It has an ocean at one side where you only can see some rocks and water.
After the scene, I think Elisabeth, Jack and Will are going to sail away with a ship of their own and its crew. I think that because all three are very interested in a life of adventure. Besides they fit very well together as a team. Why is it just them and not another person? I think they are the only people in the scene who really follows’ their own hearts and don’t care about the law. Commodore Norrington is obviously too bounded to the law. He’s one of his countries “big men”. People are looking up to him and maybe Norrington is afraid of losing that reputation. But personally, I don’t think saving one man’s life (except his a pirate) won’t change his position.
I’ve realized from the scene that the law is important, because otherwise society wouldn’t function well. One other thing that I have realized is that the law isn’t everything. As I said in the beginning, you should combine these two together to get the best result. In other words, follow your heart.

  12. Pirates are heroes

Are pirates real bad guys or are they just like you and me? Why do you have prejudice against someone you don’t know and is it possible to change that ?

This scene includes what this is all about and is a clear favorite to many because they can relate to it. After an outstanding jump right in to the water the pirate Jack Sparrow comes up with Elizabeth on his back. And he is laying her down on the bridge and gets help from Mr. Dumb and Dumber, that are two guards from the navy. Jack quickly understands that the new London fashion is the thing that almost kills Elizabeth. He takes it off and saves her life. He finds the amulet that just recently has sent out some form of message in the ocean. He asks her with a frightened voice “where did you get that ?! Immediately her arrives. But he doesn’t look very happy and in fact he wants his girl’s saver to get killed after such heroic thing. Because of the fact he’s a pirate and that makes him an evil, false and bad man. At least that's what the British think. They put a chain around his hands to be sure he doesn't get lose. This is madness says Elizabeth but the commander doesn't listen to her when she wants her savior to walk free, instead he makes fun of Jack and his belongings. When he's put up against the wall he doesn't see a way out except to take Elizabeth as a prisoner. With his chain around her neck, immediately the positions are switched and now Jack's the one in charge. He pushes Elizabeth in to the crowd of people to succeed to run off. He grabs one of the bars in the air from a boat and takes off. Luckily for him he walks free, at least for the moment.

The scene takes place on a bridge that lies in the British harbor. It isn’t that much to say about it but the atmosphere reminds me of a school yard, where the British are the bullies and Jack’s being picked on. It seems like many of the British don’t belong there because the thing they’re doing is wrong. And I think they know it as well. But the commander isn’t and he’s the one in charged.

Jack's a guy with a past that maybe isn't the best, but in my eyes he has a heart made of gold. He comes up from nowhere and drops everything to save a girl he doesn't even know. To me that's a true hero. Defiantly my favorite! Although his heart's in the right place he still has something to hide and you never know what he's going to do, just because he's a pirate. I don't like that the pirate stamp Jack has gives people a bad perceive, but in this case it’s completely wrong. The word pirate sends out wrong signals and as we know now we shouldn’t let our prejudice take charged. And it’s so hard to get rid of it, just like a tail that is hunting him down because of the tattoo on his arm. The act you've done earlier shouldn't stop you from being a good person. And the fact that he's a nice man but you don't know where you have him is the hint in this scene. Do not judge a person too fast! Elizabeth is cool girl, too cool for the British. She doesn't belong there and just like a love movie she finds her love at last, with just the right man for her, a pirate!

  13. Not only a piece of jewelry
Elizabeth can barely breathe, she breathes heavier and heavier. Eventually she faints all the way from the castle into the sea. Commodore Norrington screams “Elizabeth” to the sea. At the same time Jack Sparrow is trying to steal a ship from two guards. He sees that someone has fallen in the sea and asks both guards if they are going to save her, but they reply that they cannot swim. Jack realizes that he must be the hero and dive in. A cut in the scene is zoomed in on Elizabeth’s necklace, the Cortez gold, and it sounds and looks like a bomb has exploded in the water.
Elizabeth is unconscious in this scene but even if she is, you can understand that she is rich because of her clothes and that she must have the latest fashion, a tight corset.
Commodore Norrington is very shocked when he realizes that Elizabeth has fallen into the sea. He gets scared and wants to sacrifice his own life to save her. I notice it on him because he runs to the edge of the castle and screams her name. If he had not been stopped by his comrades, he would have jumped after her. You can see that he is a commodore because he has a white wig with long hair, a hat on his head and fine clothes. His posture is very straight and polite. When he talks to Elizabeth, he stands with his hands behind his back, which is also polite and you can tell that he respects her.
The guards in this scene panic and get a bit nervous when their swimming ability is asked. I think the guards appear to be weak because they cannot swim and because of that they are not brave. When Elizabeth’s necklace “exploded” the guards are more suspicious than nervous, since they must hold their hats because they should not blow off. They are also looking at a flag which is suddenly starting to wave.
During the scene is Jack not shocked or panicked. He takes it slow and gives his things to the guards when he was going to jump into the sea. He seems like he compelled himself to rescue Elizabeth and not as if he wants to. It would not mean so much for him if Elizabeth was dead or not. I think that he sighs after asking the guards if they can swim and got no for an answer.
The scene shows that the small village is by the sea, there is a castle and ships in port.
I think that the scene shows that Elizabeth’s necklace has a great significance for pirates because there is a skull on the collar. Due to the wind and that the three skeletons appear after the necklace, it means that something terrible and hideous will happen and that the necklace is the main thing behind it.
The scene reveals that the commodore will run down to the ships and the pier to rescue Elizabeth.
Jack Sparrow, who has tried smoothly taking a ship and leaving the small village alone very quickly, will not be able to do that. Because Elizabeth is a well-known woman in the village, he will not be invisible much longer. I cannot predict whether he will be treated as a hero, or because of his disgusting outfit will not be approved by the Chief who can put him in prison. I cannot predict how Elizabeth will respond - will she be thankful or afraid of Jack Sparrow, a pirate.

  14. THE FALL OF THE CRUEL BARBOSSA

This scene was meant for me, It's like letting loose a kid in a candy store and let him pick his favourite candy. My penchant for fighting scenes is ridiculous. In addition, it was the hatred between the two rivals that fell to my taste…

Jack steps up to Barbossa and duel him into a sword fight, during their hectic duel Jack gets distracted and Barbossa manages to stab him in the chest. As he slowly takes few steps back, knowing he soon will die, the moonlight suddenly hits him and reveals him as cursed. As they continue the duel. Barbossa pulls up his gun and aims against Elizabeth. Jack then shoots Barbossa right on the chest while Will drops the medallion with his and Jacks blood into the casket. The curse disappears and the shot works and kills Barbossa.

The pirate Jack Sparrow as we know him is a weird, smart, insidious, lazy man who does what he feels like, he often manages to help himself because of his quickness and the fact that he negotiates rather than uses weapons or force. He prefers to flee when dangerous situations come a long. You can shortly describe him as a man who loves what he’s doing but doesn’t always succeed.

This pirate goes by the name Hector Barbossa, but unlike Jack, He is evil, selfish, greedy and sarcastic man who lives on looting ships. If anyone gets in his way, he makes sure to destroy them and he doesn’t let anybody outsmart him. If you don’t listen to what he's saying he will make you pay the price.

In the dark, creepy cave where the gold and the treasures lay in large piles and are strewn all over the stony ground, you can see two men battling each other. Around them, there are giant rocks with the shapes of icicles. The cave is surrounded by water and on the top of cave, there are enormous holes that make the light shine in.

In the rival battle between Jack and Barbossa, Jack seems like the hero while Barbossa seems like the villain. I think that the cause for Barbossa villain personality and act is that he’s cursed which lead to that he doesn’t have any humanity or feelings. He wants his humanity and feelings back and does everything in his power to get it, even if he must kill.

Once when you don’t have any humanity or feelings you will immediately become cruel and when you become cruel you make things that benefits you. In this case Barbossa didn’t became cruel by himself it was the curse that made him that way. Now when the curse is gone, I think that Barbossa will receive a second chance and revived…
